Having worked alongside Akshay in several films, the legendary actor has put forward the megastar’s name to filmmaker, Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra, to play the highly prestigious and honorable role of sporting hero Milkha Singh in an upcoming film project. Mehra believes that the life and times of the athlete Milkha Singh will make a great biopic and has sought out the wisdom and advice of Amitabh Bachchan to further develop it.
