I’ve always been a Bollywood award ceremony junkie; the stars, the performances and the clothes. In the past, I’ve always viewed most of the ceremonies as fair or fair enough. Yes, there is a fan lurking around in me and so when one of my favorites doesn’t win, I will admit, I do get a tad bit upset

After seeing success in the South recently with Manmadhan Ambu , a Tamil film that saw him joining hands with Kamal Haasan again, Maddy is gearing up for his next release in Hindi with Tanu weds Manu in which he co-stars with Kangana Ranaut for the first time. With the promos and trailer garnering everyone’s interest, sources at Mid Day have said Maddy has taken a pay cut for the film

AR Rahman nominated for a BAFTA for 127 Hours

admin The maestro is being honored again with a nomination for Best Original Music for his work on 127 Hours at the prestigious British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) awards. This is the second time AR Rahman has been nominated at the BAFTA’s, he took home the trophy for Best Original Music for Slumdog Millionaire in 2010. Also nominated in the category are Danny Elfman – Alice in Wonderland , John Powell – How To Train Your Dragon , Hans Zimmer – Inception and Alexandre Desplat – The King’s Speech
